In a radical departure from the other Tempest Keep fight we’re familiar with (Loot Reaver), Al’ar is a really challenging fight that requires near-flawless execution and a hefty helping of DPS.
We were aiming to pull out a Arygos Horde First with this kill, but narrowly missed out to the good folks from A Guild (grats guys!), but we’ll take a Horde Second on a 3 night a week schedule 
We had to really work for this one, but everyone dug deep and gutted it out on our last pull of the night. Great work on this one guys, enjoy it!

In our second official day of attempts on Lurker, but the first where we decided to boil the water and get rid of those goddamn fish, we decided to snack on some seafood!

In our first crack at new content for everyone involved, we decided to go pick on Void Reaver, who apparently is a Tier 5 Shoulder Dispenser. After 3 or 4 pulls on him during our first night exploring Tempest Keep (who said the melee should run out, seriously? Fire that guy immediately.), we went back in last night and one shotted him.
Things we learned in killing him:
- The trash pulls right before Void Reaver are worse than he is. We didn’t believe everyone who told us this, but damn if they weren’t right.
- Circle of Lol might need to be renamed after this one, but Taznak is definitely a mana whore following in the hallowed footsteps of Teknoprep.
- Careful tank rotations with Hunter Misdirects are for sissies! We roll 3 tanks deep and that’s it!
- Our tradition of sacrificing Lunna late in the fight to lock in the kill continues to ensure that the purples keep flowing.
