Following a Magtheridon kill on our “farm night”, where we make stops at all the places that love to just throw the goodies at us, we found Doom Lord Kazzak lounging with his minions just over the hill from Thrallmar.
After one or two test pulls to figure out the fight since none of us had killed him before, we made a serious pull and smoked him before the second enrage. He’s…um….how do I say this…..very easy.
Not bad for a first kill on a night where we also did Maulgar, Gruul, Magtheridon, Void Reaver and Hydross in 4 hours. Nothing says “farm status” like 25 pieces of loot on a single night!

After our brief detour to smack around Leotheras, we finally arrived at Fathom-Lord Karathress and his merry band of misfit guards. Besides having a decidely anti-social desire to kill us, they just wouldn’t shut up while they were trying and forced us to quickly end their yapping permanently.
Oh, and doing this with 8-9 healers? That’s for chumps. We downed him with 7.

After killing Hydross, the guild talked and decided to go after Fathom Lord Karathress as our next target. While clearing to him, however, we found our path took us right past Leotheras the Blind.
We’re never ones to leave easily accessible bosses alone, so we took our first shots at him on Thursday and then came back tonight and after some more refinement of our strategy and execution, smoked him with only 4 people dead!
This kill was for Rygel on her birthday. She’s a smart, sassy Canadian who will always remain 25 in our minds.
