It’s been a bit quiet around here lately as we’ve been working on Lady Vashj. We hope to have some news on her shortly, but tonight we took a little breather in the form of High Astromancer Solarian via an informal raid on what’s traditionally an off-night for us.
Wow. We hadn’t tried her before, but it’s pretty silly how easy this reworked version of her is. This was an off-night, so we brought whoever we had on-line. That meant 4 protection warriors and 7 healers (I can almost hear people familiar with the fight laughing).
We also brought in a little arcane resistance gear to help make things easier on our healers, but the healing was so easy we tossed the resistance gear and eventually even had a holy priest and restoration shaman peppering her with smites and lightning bolts because they were bored.
We also worried that our AOE teams would get overrun by the adds, but I swear I saw one of them meleeing an add during a portal phase, presumably because they were also bored.
I think our kill shot reflects our thoughts on the fight: snoozefest.
