Don’t know about you, but we were pretty pumped for some new content. We’ve been waiting for quite some time since we’ve had something new and interesting to sink our teeth into, and we weren’t disappointed. While Halion’s mini-bosses weren’t particularly challenging, the trash showed us who was boss more than once (crowd control AND no AOE?! Ludicrous!). We handled Halion on our first night of attempts, but it was new and interesting and fun in that it was different. We’ll get to work on Heroic Halion soon. Good work, team!

…has been won by Omen. After a long night of attempts last night, we went in and got Putricide HM down within 30 minutes of starting our night tonight! This puts Omen at 11/12 Hard Modes in ICC! Next up! Heroic Arthas!

Congrats to Bumtank, one of our senior guild members, who received the Horde first (server second) Shadowmourne (and the awesome mount that comes with it) this week! It’s been a long time coming and is well deserved!

I wasn’t sure it was worth a post, but we might as well. Omen is now 10/12 in HM ICC, with only Putricide and the Lich King remaining. Good work, team.

Just as a minor update, Omen has managed to start work on ICC heroic modes, and have gotten Heroic Marrowgar, Heroic Airship, Heroic Rotface, and Heroic Festergut down. Next up: Prince, Blood Queen, and Valithria!

Arthas Annihilated

In frustrating Omen fashion, and after a lot of face meeting the floor, Omen overcame the Lich King and his Scourge and cleared Icecrown Citadel. It’s been a long time coming, and a rough couple of weeks, but I’m proud of the effort the guild put forth – and ready to start heroics. Congrats on beating the game again, Omen!

Heating Up The Frostwing Halls

Frostwing Halls has cooled off realm progression a tad, but with some serious friction (mostly Kazestar’s face hitting the floor), Omen managed to heat the joint up a bit. After carefully observing the fight, we realized that the trick was not to not stand in fire, but to not stand IN FRONT of fire (well, ice). Once we had that under control, we brought down the Frostbrood Queen. Next up… ARTHAS!
